Sorry about missing Thursdays post. Thursday was a very stressful day. lots of work and a hell of a lot of school stuff. I did manage to check out a couple of games and a new TV show.
I managed to clock some hours in survivor squad. Its a pretty awesome indie game. Its a top down zombie apocalyptic game. Line of sight is crazy important and you have to micromanage your squad members like crazy. The levels are randomly generated so it adds some nice diversity to the game. I would seriously recommend this game to anyone.

For those who listen to the podcast (You should probably check out the podcast if you haven’t) you know I love my TV and Netflix. Recently I have been into a show called Lie to me*. I must admit I love my cheesy cop shows. Its about a scientist that can read micro expressions and determine emotions/guilt. The writing staff has some damn good jokes and damn good bits. Totally worth checking out if you like shows such as Castle and Bones. If anybody has any other suggestions for some shows to check out, leave a comment and I for sure will check them out.

Anyways back to the real world… Lately I have been into a game, I have mentioned before. That game is Game Dev Tycoon. If you haven’t heard of it, I’m not surprised. Its a nice tiny little game. It fits this nice little niche of games I can play while watching TV. It was previously filled by the Binding of Issac and FTL. So far I have clock twenty hours into it with my company called SHoWer.

One game that I bought on a whim because I am impulsive bastard, is Reus. I haven’t played too much of the game but its fun. Another one of those games that I can just relax and mindlessly play. Its a neat little world creation sim where you reshape a barren world. I like it and I certainly would recommend it.

Well I guess its time to podcast so I’m done for now.

Recently A couple cool things have happened. I have found gainful employment as a Server Administrator for a cloud computing company. Its pretty sweet I must admit playing around with hundreds of servers and machines.

Another neat thing that has happened is we were contacted by a small indie team. We (EunityCrew) got a reviewers copy of their latest title called Survivor Squad. So a MASSIVE SHOUT OUT to Hugo Cardoso over at Endless loops Studios for hooking us up. I’ll have some more details on that once I get a chance to play it over the weekend.

While we are on the topic of shout outs I want to give one to Masswolf22. He was nice enough to gift me a copy of Total War Shogun 2. I am super excited to try out the Total War series. Especially after my binge of Civ 5. Im sure I will have some crazy stories for the podcast and for the daily dose of Devin.

Speaking of gaming, My Ouya has shipped. I should be receiving it in about 2 weeks. Super excited for that. Its going to be interesting to have a “little” indie console to hack and play around with.
